It forms water-soluble complexes or chelates with Ca2+, thus increasing the solubility of inorganic salts and playing a role in scale inhibition. At the same time, some functional groups in the reverse osmosis scale inhibitor molecules occupy a certain position on the crystal nuclei or microcrystals of inorganic salts, which hinders and destroys the normal growth of inorganic salts, slows down the growth rate of crystals, and thus reduces the formation of salt scale.

The circulating water scale inhibitor mostly uses acrylic acid - acrylic ester copolymer, organic phosphorus, zinc salt, and other industrial raw materials. The reverse osmosis scale inhibitor uses natural dispersant, phosphonic acid, phosphonic acid, phosphonic acid and high polymer quality raw materials.
